A User Role determines what a User can see and which actions they can take. We’ve outlined the differences between User Roles below so that you can properly assign User Roles to members of your team.

Account Owner | Has privileges to setup assigned account’s system settings with access to all standard account features. | All standard permissions with the addition of various sensitive permissions (delete user/assessment/account/configurations), and configuration permissions (Upload Teams, Create custom roles, Set UACF, Upload HRIS flat file, Create/Edit libraries). | Super-user, due to extensive configuration permissions, ideal for tech savvy person who is also a point of contact for DS platform team. |
Account Admin | Can use all standard account features for the assigned account and all accounts below it. | Permissions required for daily account management operations such as Create user/assessment. Send/track invites, Assign/assessment/user role, Download user results/PDF reports and more advanced like permissions to Create content libraries for Dynamo or Competency feedback reports. | Supervisor, one or more persons in charge of overseeing and managing account’s activities. |
Junior Account Admin | Can use limited account functions such as invites but cannot take critical actions, such as deleting accounts or assessments. | Permissions required for basic administrative account operations: Assign/un-assign assessment, Send invites (with delete link), Create Projects, Download users, Change user reports, System emails update | Administrative admins in charge of handling assessment projects with the focus on managing users, groups, projects, invites. |
Analytics Admin | Can view only aggregated results in the insights tab. Cannot view individual user results. | Permission required for viewing assessment results on dashboards (Insights only). | Suitable for org members that want to be kept up to date with data visualizations. |
